The heavyweight division has a new kid in town! Yesterday evening, SSE Arena, Wembley, Uk, the Ukranian Oleksandr Usyk assured his 18th consecutive professional victory against the British Dereck Chisora, sending a clear message to the critics that he can handle the big boys for 12 rounds.
The first rounds were intense with Chisora coming further at all times and being able to land some big punches. But the former undisputed cruiserweight king Usyk managed to resist and make his points. Most big punches he received landed on the arms and gloves.
Derek Chisora worked hard but at the end of the fight the judges declared 117-112 115-113 115-113 in favor of the Ukrainian.
